Chin Tucks

The thoracic spine (mid-back) becomes stiff with age and prolonged sitting. That stiffness forces your body to compensate by rounding your shoulders forward. Improving thoracic extension allows you to sit and stand taller without forcing it.
Go gently. This should feel like a mild stretch, not painful. Doorway Pec Stretch
Stand in a doorway, place your forearms on the door frame with elbows at 90 degrees. Step one foot forward and lean gently into the stretch, feeling it across your chest and front of your shoulders. Hold 30 seconds. Repeat 3 times.
Tight chest muscles pull your shoulders forward. Stretching them gives the corrector and strengthening exercises a better starting point.
Do this stretch daily, especially if you spend a lot of time with your arms in front of you (computer work, reading, cooking).
